Intersecting of gender dynamic with green transition


2024
I examine the intersection of gender and the green transition, focusing on a thermal power plant in South Korea. Through multidisciplinary research involving ethnographic interviews, field observations, media analysis, and historical context, I reveal some of the less-talked-about tensions, challenges, and contradictions inherent in the country’s green transition, especially regarding women.

Rooting in Sand

'Rooting in Sand' is a collective project examining desertification and its impact, focusing on biodiversity and gender inclusivity in the Gobi region. Sponge

A Mediterranean sea sponge is grown in the house and fashioned as a reusable tampon. The tampon can be decomposed in soil at the end of its life cycle. This was a collective project, and our team was selected to represent the school in the Bio Design Challenge (BDC).Video Social

Eco Packaging

This project involved creating eco-friendly packaging at THE GOBO to transform jewelry packaging steps from six components to just one, using 100% recycled paper and a campaign to highlight our move to sustainable packaging and reinforce our commitment to sustainability. It initiated a sustainable culture in the designer’s brand market.
