THE GOBO is a Seoul-based fashion accessory brand known for its poetic and refined aesthetic, captured in the slogan “There is something special in you.” Starting as a jewelry brand, it gradually expanded its product line to include clothing, bags, and scarves. Through wholesale and online platforms, the brand reached markets in Asia, Europe, and North America. Since 2013, THE GOBO has focused on sustainability initiatives, leading various campaigns that sparked significant shifts toward sustainable practices in the designer brand market.
Boram Koh, the brand director and founder, was deeply involved in all aspects of the business, including brand direction, fashion design, marketing, customer service, and photography. She led 12 collaboration projects and, despite having no formal background in jewellery crafts or bag design, embraced experimental designs that broke conventional rules. This approach allowed the brand to introduce new styles each season, a key business strength.
